We’re Hiring: Strength & Conditioning Coach (Part Time)

We’re currently looking for a sharp, motivated coach to join our team. Someone who’s eager to learn our systems, grow into their own coaching style, and be part of a supportive, experienced, and fast-growing environment.

The Opportunity

We are hiring a coach who can step into client hours right away. You will grow your hours as client load builds. ABB administration is part of the role once you are trained. This is a contractor position.

Must Haves

  • At least 1 year of coaching experience (2 years preferred)

  • You’re confident in applying appropriate cueing, progressions, and regressions for a diverse client base

  • First Aid and CPR

  • Valid liability insurance

  • Personal training or S&C credential (or equivalent)

  • Reliable availability, punctual, professional

  • You bring strong communication skills and a team-oriented, coachable mindset

Nice to Have

  • Kinesiology degree or current enrolment

  • Experience with athletes or combat sports

  • A background in athletic development, competitive sport, or performance training is highly valued

  • Comfortable coaching small groups or classes

  • Content skills for occasional filming

Schedule

  • Available at least 2-3 mornings (7:30am - 10:30am) and 2-3 evenings (4:30pm - 8:30pm)

  • Additional hours will expand with demand

  • Evening opportunities may also be available for group classes or evening clients

Compensation

  • Coaching rate: $30–$50 per hour, based on experience and a brief on-floor practical

  • Admin tasks: $20 per hour (pre-approved)

Training & Development

  • You will receive mentorship access to our 12-week materials for self-study

  • ABB training is provided and you will be scheduled for ABB once you are ready

What You’ll Do

  • Coach one-to-one sessions with clarity and attention to detail

  • Write simple day plans that fit within our programming philosophy

  • Communicate clearly, arrive on time, and keep accurate notes

  • Support occasional filming or content tasks when approved

What to Expect in the Hiring Process
